Ibibia Exhibition Fills Skill Gap in Nigeria’s Luxury Market

Nigeria’s leather luxury brand, Mira Oma unveiled latest collection at the IBIBIA exhibition held at Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos. The IBIBIA exhibition featured latest designs of shoulder bags, totes, messenger bags, clutches and wallets handcrafted by Mira Oma.

On-air-personality, Kaylah Oniwo, Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw and other celebrities attended the event in appreciation of the homegrown luxury brand.

Creative Director of Mira Oma, Ms. Didi Green emphasised the need to support Nigerian brands by training a workforce that will create more products to meet international standards.

“It is important for us at Mira Oma to maintain high level of quality and keep the brand’s outlook to meet global standards. Mira Oma is changing the narrative of home grown luxury products with its structured designs and use of original leather and accessories in creating the finished bags proudly made here in Nigeria”, Didi said.

Appreciating the creativity of Mira Oma bags on display, actress Kate Henshaw affirmed, “It is good to encourage Nigerian entrepreneurs who are not compromising on quality. I’m extremely proud of the precision and finishing of these bags as they can comfortably display on shelves of luxury stores abroad”.

The exhibition event curated by HUCE VALERIS in particular, celebrated the tasteful fusion of ethnic materials and play of sophisticated textures with colours that are an embodiment of simplistic, timeless glamour for both women and men.

Guests were treated to cocktails in a vibrant and luxurious ambience.
